Improve mobility & flexibility
Ground-based movements can help improve mobility and flexibility by challenging range of motion in ways that not all traditional forms of exercise can. Plus, it can help create consistency as you work on those areas. If you typically avoid flexibility work, for example, because it's "too boring" to just stretch ;) these sessions may be the perfect solution to improving range of motion while still feeling challenged.

Reduce Injuries & Nagging Pains
Ground-based movements can help enhance coordination and balance. Improving your body control naturally has a positive impact both in and out of the gym space - the better you know your body, the better you can support it and focus on quality movement (better movement = reduced injuries). Because they are typically low-impact, less pressure is put on your joints, providing a more gentle form of exercise. It can be a positive addition on gentle movement or active recovery days for this reason, or while you're working through an injury.
